April 23, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

THIS MEETUP EVENT IS NOW TAKING PLACE ON APRIL 23. (It had been originally scheduled for April 16.) The photos are still the same, don’t worry. I have copied the ATTENDEE LIST from April 16 and pasted it in for April 23.

In Robert’s own words: Robert “Grizzly” Grover unexpectedly returned to his hometown of Fresno in December of 2016. He enjoys living in Fresno, thanks in large part to the Central Valley Hiking Group, one of the most active and successful Meetups in the country. He has been on over fifty hikes with the group, discovering new trails, revisiting old ones, making new friends, having lots of fun, and greatly expanding his portfolio of photographs. Before he returns to work in Yellowstone for a second straight summer, he wants to thank the club and its members with a presentation of the best of the nearly 2,500 photos he’s taken on CVHG excursions. If you’ve been on hikes with “Robert G” you might see yourself in some of the photos. Included are several trips each to Yosemite, Sequoia, the San Joaquin River Gorge, the Coast Range and Central Coast, the Mojave Desert, and Exeter. This will be his third presentation for the group at the Woodward Park Library, after his “Bipolar Nomad” presentation last June and “Intimate Yellowstone” just a few days ago. Please come and enjoy an evening of beautiful and fun photographs and invite your friends who might want to see what the Central Valley Hiking Group is all about.
