Easy stroll and sketching /nature journaling at Park Headquarters

February 16, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Lets do some nature journaling! Sketching is fun and relaxing way to observe the nature.
All skills and ages are welcomed, no painting/drawing experience needed.

Rain cancel.

We will meet at Visitor Center parking lot at 1:15PM, to start walking at 1:30 towards our sketching spot by the picnic table at the end of Corral trail (0.6 mile).
The walk is very easy, all level.

We will sketch for about an hour, and return back the same way.

What to bring:
– sketchbook/notepad
– drawing/painting media of your choice (pen, pencils, watercolors.. – I use colored pencils and will have some extra to share )
– clothes to keep you warm if it is cold, sun hat if it is sunny
– we will be sitting at the picnic table, but you may want to bring a sitting pad or lightweight camp chair.
– snacks/water if you need it

Day Use Fee: $8.00 ($7.00 seniors) per vehicle.

Dogs: sorry, only service dogs are allowed in the state parks.
