Mount Madonna Fetid Adder’s Tongue Hike
January 20, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
This is a CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY field trip. Please don’t sign-up unless you love botany and nature. With a few exceptions, CNPS field trips are nature hikes, not a ‘get your heart rate up’ hike.
Everyone must sign-up themselves; you may not sign-up others.
Many of our field trips have a waitlist, therefore, you may be blocked from future CNPS hikes if you are a no-show.
Be sure to check your email just before the outing as occasionally an outing must be cancelled at the last minute. Also, if you are on the wait list, sometimes participants cancel the day before, moving you from the WAITLIST to GOING.
It’s a stinky little flower but an exciting one since it’s one of the first of the new year! Let’s see if the intriguing Fetid Adder’s Tongue is blooming at Mount Madonna. If not, we’ll have a nice hike in a lovely forest. We’ll do ±4.5 mile loop with ±800 feet ascent. Bring water and lunch. Led by Andy Werner and Lynn Bomberger.
