Think your cardio is good or are you looking to improve it?
Join us December 8 (rain or shine) and ruck from Gilroy to Morgan Hill and back to benefit the Gilroy Veterans Hall Capital Campaign Fund. What’s a ruck? It’s a military term for getting your gear from A to B in a backpack and typically weighs 50+ pounds.
We will be starting at the Gilroy Sports Park and ruck to the CRC in Morgan Hill for lunch (provided for you) before heading back to Gilroy. The route is 10.4 miles one way (20.8 round trip) so load up your pack to your desired weight and hit the pavement. Your completion time will depend on your personal pace.
Rest stops will be placed along the course and will also offer physical challenges designed to be completed with your pack on.
So load up and head out!
Can’t make it in person? No worries. We have a virtual option and participants will receive a t-shirt and dog tag.
What should I wear? Comfortable clothes and shoes. This event will happen rain or shine so keep a watch on the weather in case of rain or low temperatures and consider packing appropriate clothing in addition to other weight in your pack.
What’s the refund policy? No refunds.
Is my registration transferrable? Yes, you can have someone else come in your place.
