Help Baby Oaks Grow! Guadalupe Oak Grove Park Volunteer Day!
March 16, 3:45 pm - 7:00 pm
Guadalupe Oak Park is home to a very special “blue oak savanna”. These old trees have provided lots of shade and habitat homes over the years.
Over the past year, new baby blue oaks have been identified and caged, so that they grow big and strong. Acorn seeds were planted in the fall and also protected. As this new life emerges, volunteers are needed to help remove invasive plants so that the oaks can acquire the water and soil nutrients that will enable them to have strong roots!
