Monterey’s Huckleberry Hill at Night
October 10, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
4-1/2 mile hike with 230m of cumulative elevation gain through the hills of Skyline Forest above the city of Monterey. We’ll wind our way through a circuitous route of city sidewalks, nature trails and 180 stair steps on our way to the top (behind DLI) to enjoy beautiful views of the Monterey city skyline. Our route will be entirely within the city limits of Monterey.
Corner of Jefferson & Pacific Streets
Monterey, CA 93940
(Curbside street parking available)
Rain CANCELS. Smoke cancels. Bring lights.
Note that Monterey can be quite chilly at night in the Fall and Winter.
Afterwards, let’s meet for some Burgers & Bubbly at SUR BURGER on Alverado. SB is the sister restaurant to Billy Quon’s SUR Restaurant in Carmel! Check out their website! ( surburger.com ). We expect to meet there between 7:00 and 7:30. The service is “cafeteria style”. Just place orders and grab tables as needed.
