Mount Madonna Fetid Adder’s Tongue Hike, CNPS
January 23, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm
It’s a stinky little flower but an exciting one since it’s one of the first of the new year! Let’s see if the intriguing Fetid Adder’s Tongue is blooming at Mount Madonna. If not, we’ll have a nice hike in a lovely forest. We’ll do ±4.5 mile loop with ±800 feet ascent. Bring water and lunch. Arrive early; we depart on time. Led by Andy Werner.
This is a CALIFORNIA NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY field trip. Please don’t sign-up unless you love botany and nature. With a few exceptions, CNPS field trips are nature hikes, not a ‘get your heart rate up’ hike.
Many of our field trips have a waitlist, therefore, you may be blocked from future CNPS hikes if you are a no-show.
Everyone must sign up themselves—your name must be on the “Attendees (Going)” list to be able to join the group. Most of our hikes have a limited number of participants.
Be sure to check your email just before the outing as occasionally an outing must be cancelled at the last minute. Also, if you are on the wait list, sometimes participants cancel as late as the day before, moving you from the WAITLIST to GOING.
If you haven’t been to a specific field trip meeting location before, it is suggested that you print out the enlarged Meetup map from your computer along with the “How to find us” information and take it with you to the meeting location.
