Celebrate the summer with a State Park Interpreter at our campfire program. We’ll roast some marshmallows, play trivia and other games, sing campfire songs, and feature a short presentation on an important nature topic. Come prepared to participate in the show, laugh, learn, and win prizes. It’s a great time for one and all! Meet at the campfire center next to the Ben Ries Campground. Free event. South Bay: Butano Redwood Grove

Beat the summer heat with a wilderness escape to Butano State Park. Greenbelt Alliance Advancement Manager Nora Cullen will lead us on this sylvan adventure through redwood-filled canyons along Butano Creek and the Six Bridges Trail.
