Bill’s Bullpen isn’t just for comic book buffs.

In fact, the Hollister store—commonly known for its comics and baseball cards—can be a lifesaver for the holiday shopper.

“We’re a great store for last-minute shopping and for confused people who don’t know what to get,” says owner Bill Mifsud.

Mifsud says the store is also a great place to buy stocking stuffers and gift exchange items (where price limits are usually set at $10 or $20). “We’re unique in that sense,” he adds.

After 31 years in business, Bill’s Bullpen has found success with being, what Mifsud calls, a “hodge-podge store.”

Such items as sports apparel, comic books, sports cards, sports memorabilia and figurines such as Pop Funko figures can be found at the store. And the store will even make orders for customers who don’t want to purchase items online. Gift cards are available for those who are unsure of a gift choice.

Mifsud says the secret to the success of the business is that “there’s something there for everybody.”

Bill’s Bullpen is located at 207 Fourth St. in Hollister. Store hours are Mon-Fri,11am – 8pm; Sat 10am-8pm; and Sun 11am-7pm. Special holiday hours are Mon-Sun, 9am-8pm.
