Utilizing its 375-acre campus situated amid grassy meadows and redwood forest, Mount Madonna School’s (MMS) popular Mountain of Fun summer day camps returns the weeks of July 12 and July 19 for children ages 5 to 13. An all-day redwood horse camp is also offered the week of Aug. 2.

Camps are Monday through Friday, 9am-3:30pm. Safe transportation (additional fees apply) is available from Gilroy and Morgan Hill.

Campers will develop their social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills while building friendships in an outdoor setting. Campers remain on the MMS campus all day, or they may choose to participate in an afternoon horsemanship program (additional fees apply).

Mountain Explorers, for ages 5-10, includes forest play, hiking, performing arts, yoga, nature crafts, safe socializing and new friends.

New this year, Redwood Explorers is a middle school experience for ages 10-13. Campers can join a small, safe social circle of friends for active and creative activities with opportunities each day to explore the mountain away from computer screens.

MMS follows all Covid-19 safety precautions and guidelines as directed from the CDC, the State of California, as well as the local health department. Social distancing and masks are required at all times. All programs are led by experienced MMS teachers.
