What are the bright spots in the market right now?

Interest rates are still at an all time low and in South County, although inventory has not been plentiful we have amazing new home developments as well. Another bright spot is there are several fantastic lending products to assist first time buyers with down payment and/or second mortgage options.

What do you enjoy most about being a Realtor?

There really is nothing better than helping a client achieve their goals! I Love to assist a first time home buyer into a home but equally clients who want to move up into a larger home and I especially enjoy helping a buyer into an investment property that perhaps will help them augment their retirement! There are times when a seller has a career opportunity out of the area and I love to help them sell their home and find an agent in the new area!

What areas do you concentrate in?

South Santa Clara county, Morgan Hill, Gilroy and San Martin is my concentration.

What was your most interesting sale in the last 12 months? First time home buyers who got into their home with no money down and no private mortgage insurance. The seller story is unbelievable and I am happy to share with you if you have the space!

What was your biggest train wreck?

Seller who thinks he is an attorney and was heading for a law suit. Luckily I am no longer associated with him and he has not sold his homes.

What was your most unusual transaction?

Absolutely the one mentioned above as the seller was homeless out of the area but owned the condo outright. This story could take a page it is so unusual.
